⊹ Origin ⊹

From Mesoamerica to your hand.

Single-origin Mexican cacao. Hand-roasted in small batches. Researched at the Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia.

The Bean

Criollo & Trinitario, single-origin

Sourced from cooperatives in Tabasco and Chiapas — the original cacao heartland. We work directly with growers, paying above fair-trade rates, and only buying from harvests that meet our taste profile.

The Roast

Hand-roasted, never alkalized

Industrial chocolate is alkalized ("Dutched") to make it sweeter and more uniform — a process that destroys most of the antioxidants and flavor compounds. We don't do that. We roast slow, in small batches, the way it was done before machines.

The Form

0.8g pieces, by design

Why so small? Because the original ritual was a precise dose — not "as much as you want." Each piece is calibrated. 2–3 pieces is a session. A 60g pouch is roughly 30 rituals. The form factor is part of the product.
