We left the corporate food industry to make one thing well — the chocolate that fueled an empire.
AztecBlood is a monoproduct. We make one thing. We're not building a snack brand — we're recreating a ritual that predates almost everything you eat. That focus is the point.
Our team is split between Mexico City (production, sourcing, research) and a distributed product team that handles design, technology, and global shipping. We work with anthropologists, food scientists, and traditional Mexican chocolatiers.
What we believe
- 01 The most powerful foods are the ones humans have eaten longest. Two thousand years of cacao ritual is more evidence than any double-blind study.
- 02 A product should do one thing extraordinarily well, not ten things adequately.
- 03 Sourcing matters more than branding. We pay above fair-trade because that's how the supply chain stays alive in 50 years.
- 04 Energy without crash is a real, measurable thing — and most modern stimulants get it wrong.
